Dangers of mixing alcohol and thc?

Since alcohol lowers heart rate and blood pressure....and thc in marijuana INCREASES heart rate....is this a dangerous combination?

What changes in risk occur, if any, when the thc is extracted from the marijuana via a vaporizer instead of actually smoking the plant?

Dangers of mixing alcohol and thc?

To address the answer above as well as the question:

Cannabis / Marijuana isn%26#039;t a dangerous drug from the perspective of overdose, but it does carry increased risks of mental illness (particularly anxiety disorders, paranoia, depression, schizophrenia, etc) and recent research conducted by the lung foundation found that a single deeply inhaled joint can do as much lung tissue damage as 20 cigarettes!

Also, have you ever heard of amotivational syndrome? This is a theory that for up to 3 months after chronic Marijuana / Cannabis use that people report a lack of ambition, drive and a hazy feeling that they attribute to the drug%26#039;s after effects. Some medical professionals don%26#039;t even agree that it exists, but THC, the active ingredient of the drug can bind to brain tissue for up to 3 months.

I hope this adds some balance. Marijuana carries risks.

Drinking and smoking together are perfectly fine. THC is kind of a %26quot;wonder drug%26quot; in the sense that it can be used for many purposes (calming nausea, treating migraines, pain or stress relief) without any real danger. There are no cases of death caused directly by consumption of THC or marijuana. Feel free to the research yourself. The combinations you need to be careful of are alcohol and painkillers, which are BOTH depressants, which in combination can stop your heart, and alcohol and cocaine, which form cocaethylene, a poisonous by-product that is formed in the liver when the two are in your system at the same time.

Also, the %26quot;healthiest%26quot; way to smoke is through a vaporizer, but it%26#039;s not neccessary. Instead of inhaling smoke with resin in it, you will just be inhaling the vapors, basically air with THC in it.
