How much cardio each day?

if i want to lose 10-15 lbs...how much should i work out each day and what heart rate should i aim for? i notice when i run, my heart rate gets pretty high. should i slow it down to burn more fat?

How much cardio each day?

If you want to lose weight you need to do at least 30 minutes to an hour 5-6 times a week. I would aim for an hour 5 times a week for maximum weight loss. You also need to incorporate some weight lifting, because muscle burns more calories than fat, and it will also make you look leaner.



As for heart rate..if you exercise harder you can go for less time, but if you keep your heart rate lower than you will need to workout longer to get the same calorie burning benefits..
