I%26#039;m 28 weeks pregnant and my babies heart rate is always 140-145. I%26#039;m having a girl so they tell me. What is your babies heart rate and what are you having? Thanks!!

Congratulations on your little girl. If your doctor told you that you are having a girl then I%26#039;m guessing this was based on an ultrasound. I%26#039;d trust him... ultrasounds are usually very reliable. As far as the heartbeat, the %26quot;MYTH%26quot; is that a heartbeat faster than 140bpm is a girl and anything lower than that is a boy. Again though, that is the old myth. I know many people who had the opposite of the myth so don%26#039;t go off the heartbeat alone. Enjoy your precious bundle of joy!!

Babies have a high rate of heart beat. Their sex and their heart rates may not be correlated. Congrats and best wishes.

Usually boys are between 120 and 140 and girls are perhaps 135 to 150.

Not all of the fetuses read this book, however. Some girls are a bit more calm than others, and some boys just like going fast. A few of them are just contrary from the start.

A good rule of thumb is that any rule of thumb used to determine sex in a baby is accurate about 50 percent of the tme. Heart rate may be a little better.
