Is working out in the cold a bad thing if I wanna improve my cardio??

Im not overweight or anything, but my cardio needs improvement and my heart rate raises easily, so I decided to start jump roping. I work out in my garage cause its were I can be alone and be focused on my workout, but since its November my garage is pretty chilly. I get my heart rate up and my muscles working, but Im not sweating and its hard for me to catch my breath afterwards.

I work out in the cold a lot! Dress warm and it keeps the heat in and that helps. Jump rope is great! It really gets your heart rate up, I always struggle trying to get my breath after jumproping

Its fine for you. Just make sure you warm up some first so you don%26#039;t start out hard and then end up injuring yourself. It doesnt matter that you are not sweating much, because as long as your getting your heartrate up you are improving your cardio. You might just be losing your breath afterwards because you are training and not yet in shape to handle your workouts, but I would suggest getting into a warmer area as soon as your done exercising.

Don%26#039;t over-do-it. I think the cooler air is better because it%26#039;s easier to breath but just relax while your working out because your heart will beat with less stress and better blood flow through your body.
